On board ship their new-found fortune goes to their heads; Fred loses most of his money to a fake princess, while Emily also gets involved in an escapade. A shipwreck rekindles their relationship, and they return to the security of England and home, having had their fill of romance and adventure. NUMBER 17 A beautiful woman, member of a gang of thieves, falls in love with a detective, who is tracking her associates. She saves him from death at the hands of the gang and thereafter they must flee from the revenge of her former associates, resulting in a freight train car chase.
