Synopsis

Meet Minnie and Quinn, who discover at a New Year’s Eve party that they share a unique bond — they were born on New Year’s Day, in the same London hospital, just one minute apart. Minnie has long believed that Quinn, born first, stole the name her mother intended for her and with it, all her luck, leading to a life of misfortune. Shocked by this misunderstanding, Quinn is determined to set things right. Adapted from the popular Sophie Cousens' novel of the same name, director Nick Moore’s London-set tale is a charming British rom-com presented in the tradition of a Richard Curtis film. Showcasing a star-studded ensemble cast featuring Lucien Laviscount (EMILY IN PARIS), Sophie Cookson (KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE), Golda Rosheuvel (BRIDGERTON), and John Hannah (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL), the story weaves themes of friendship, romance, and personal development while exploring the playful idea of destiny with a sense of whimsy.
